Girasol wraps downunder!

Keonislings is now the Girasol woven wraps distributor for New Zealand and Australia!
To kick this new venture off, we're having an exclusive wrap design made by Girasol.

This design (at the top) was a team effort from the members of the Baby-Carriers-Downunder Google Group. The olive greens are there to honour the founder of the group and babywearing guru/daddy Paulus. It's his favourite colour.
The red and purple are colours we settled on as the ones most of us like. It's the Downunder Girasol.

The wrap is expected to be available in June or July '10.

My name is Esther, I am a homeschooling, sewing mama of five wonderful children, ranging in age from 15 down to 3 years old.

I make ringslings and sometimes other baby carriers on request.

As I have to fit my sewing and carrier making around my busy life at home, I don't carry huge stock.
Most of the time I make the slings as I get orders in. Sometimes I may have a sling already made. These ones will be in the "IN STOCK" section.

I sold one of the pink solarveilslings to an online friend and fellow babywearer.
She sent me these pics of herself and her little one in the sling.

I'm fully impressed with Esther's pink solarveil ringsling! The pleated area molds around my shoulder creating an excellent fit. The rings are the perfect size, compact yet allowing a decent amount of fabric to pull through when needed. The Solarveil fabric is lightweight but incredibly strong. Although it is very functional, the sling is also pretty! Esther you've done a wonderful job, and my Emily finds it very comfortable. Thanks for sending so quickly, I really appreciate it. I have recommended you to my friends.
